When you first find out that you have an upcoming relocation to Bullhead City Arizona, one of your first decisions is whether to look at new homes in Bullhead City Arizona or existing homes in Bullhead City Arizona. You can also contract to have a home built to your specifications. While it may be tempting to build a new home from scratch, you have to factor in the stress of not having a permanent home during the months of construction. You may want to consider “spec” homes that builders have almost completed. This will give you the freedom to choose colors and styles, but will also enable you to move into your new home shortly after your relocation to Bullhead City Arizona. I have friends that lived in a 2 room efficiency motel for 5 ½ months (with 2 children and a dog!) while their home was being built. She told me that she would never do that again. She loved having a new home, but has decided that if she ever moves across country again, she will not subject her family to that experience again.
Bullhead City has a desert climate, with a few inches of precipitation year-round. It is one of the United States's hottest cities during the summer, with an average July high of 109 degrees Fahrenheit degrees. The month with the most average precipitation is August, with 0.99 inch or 25 millimeters. Interestingly, Bullhead City is located on the always-flowing Colorado River, is cursed with high daily humidity, and yet has truly desert measures of precipitation. The town was originally known as "Hardyville", named after William Harrison Hardy, who worked as a postmaster, county supervisor and a member of the Territorial Legislature. When the railroad bypased the town, it quickly became a ghost town until the construction of the Davis Dam. The name "Bullhead City" is taken from "Bull Head's Rock", a rock formation along the Colorado River. During the days of riverboats, it was used as a navagation point. -- Source: Wikipedia.com AskMe a Question About Bullhead City, ArizonaTo ask a question or make a comment about Bullhead City, Arizona Click Here.
